Peewee AE, 2017-2018, REP (Centre Wellington Minor Hockey)

On Sunday this great group of boys travelled to Barrie to play Game 6 of the OMHA Championship with the series tied at 5 pts each. After a very exciting back and forth game this group found themselves down 3-2 with under 10 minutes to play. We dug deep, put the team first and worked hard to tie it up with 6 minutes left. This incredible group kept working as a team and with 49 seconds left in the game scored the go ahead goal. An empty net goal ensured the Red Hats and the OMHA championship were coming to home to Centre Wellington with us.  There was nothing better than seeing these boys ...

We will be holding a pizza party for the boys after practice on Friday March 23rd from 6pm to approx 715pm in the mezzanine above Pad A at the Sportsplex. Pizza, snacks and drinks will be provided, the boys should be ready for pick up between 715-730pm. ONE GOAL

Last week we traveled to Pelham to participate in the International Silver Stick Finals. This great group of boys worked hard, chose to play as a team and earned themselves a spot in the championship game. In the finals we came up against very good TNT team. We gave it everything we had in the end dropped a heartbreaker 4-3. This group battled till the very last second and should all be VERY proud of themselves for playing as a team and bringing home the Silver medal from this prestigious tournament. After 8 weeks of hard work away from the rink, the boys completed the OMHA 10,000 Touch Challenge earning themselves a team reward, while helping to strengthen their hockey skills.  For the reward please make sure the digital waiver form is filled out and your son's Booster Juice order has been submitted. The bus will meet us in the front parking lot of the Sportsplex at 845am and our plan is to be back for pick up at 130pm. Your son will need indoor or clean shoes for the activity as well as comfortable clothing as the reward is physical.  We hope the boys are as excited as we are for ...

This past week we travelled to Brantford to take part in the 48th annual Wayne Gretzky International Hockey Tournament. These boys came ready to play and gave it their all earning themselves a spot in the finals. Although we didn't come away with the gold like we had hoped these boys should be proud of the way they played all weekend long and the sportsmanship that they displayed. Once again we came together and played as a team, putting the Team First to get the job done.  This group has put together a very impressive month with only 1 loss.
