Novice AE, 2016-2017, REP (Centre Wellington Minor Hockey)

The Centre Wellington Fusion Novice AE team had a strong showing at the 16th Annual Randy Merten/Dan Holland Memorial Tournament held in Belle River, ON on December 2-4. The Fusion opened their tournament showing with a 5-2 win over the Pickering Panthers, followed by a 3-2 victory over Windsor Jr. Spitfires. In the third game, the Fusion lost 1-0 in a closely held game against Erie Storm. The Fusion finished off the round-robin play with a 1-1 tie against the Belle River Jr. Canadiens, putting them into the finals.
