CWMHA’s goal is to promote personal integrity, respect for others, fair play and good sportsmanship in minor hockey while challenging our youth to win with humility and lose with dignity. We encourage high standards of personal discipline in areas of moral conduct, physical fitness and self-control.

    Our vision is to accomplish the forgoing while maintaining an element of fun in the game of hockey and to ensure that every experience is positive and constructive.

    I/My Child hereby agrees to abide by and support the current OMHA code of conduct , and rules, regulations, and decisions made by OMHA, OHF, HC and CWMHA. As a member of the OMHA for the purpose of this policy participants shall include all players, parents, guardians, bench staff, executive, and staff of CWMHA.

    Members and participants of CWMHA shall conduct themselves at all times in a manner consistent with the values of the OMHA and CWMHA which includes fairness, integrity, and mutual respect. During the course of all events and activities, members shall avoid behavior which brings OMHA, and CWMHA or the sport of hockey into disrepute, including are not limited to the use of alcohol, cannabis, and non-medical drugs. All members must adhere to the further CWMHA Social Media Policy. 

    CWMHA members and participants shall at all times adhere to the OMHA operational procedures and policies, rules and regulations governing and competitions in which participants play on behalf of OMHA and to the CWMHA By-Laws, rules of operation, policies and procedures.

    The above participant and Parent/Guardian has/have reviewed the OHF Concussion Code of Conduct and the appropriate Concussion Awareness Resources and commit to operating within the parameters of the OHF Concussion Code of Conduct under the role which the Participant and the Parent/Guardian has/have registered with the OHF. All information can be reviewed below.

    “ The Ontario Government has enacted Rowen’s Law (Concussion Safety), 2018. The Act requires all sport organizations which includes the Ontario Hockey Federation to have a Concussion Code of Conduct for each sports organization. The Code of Conduct and the appropriate resources must be reviewed annually before you can register.
