Siblings and Masks
We continue to receive several complaints each week of parents bringing siblings to their children's ice times and not wearing masks.

The only people allowed in township buildings without a mask are those individuals who are medically exempt, not those who disagree with mask wearing.  A medical mask exemption for one person does not constitue a mask exemption for the whole family.

There are NO SIBLINGS allowed in the building while another child skates under any circumstance.  Anyone who violates this will face disciplinary action at the discretion of the executive, including removal from the program.  This rule has been communicated many times by us.  The COVID-19 numbers in our area are increasing daily which puts our entire program at risk.  We have adopted a zero tolerance policy in this regard.  This mirrors the province's COVID-19 framework under Sports and Recreational Fitness:
  • No spectators permitted (exemption for parent and guardian supervision of children)
