Good Morning Everyone! The details of our Marlies Days are as follows.
On Saturday January 12th, we will be traveling as a team, via coach bus to a Marlies game. We did this as a team last year and it was a huge hit. This is a full day experience with a visit to the Hockey Hall of Fame, team lunch at Jack Astor's and then the game. The team will get to watch the Marlies warm up from the Marlies bench and then head up to join their families afterwards. I will quickly outline our planned itinerary below. The cost for this event is $30 per person and whatever you have at lunch. Our team is currently fundraising the cost of the bus with our Bucket of Booze fundraiser and the MLSE is gifting us the Hockey Hall of Fame tickets. We hope you can join us!
8:30am Meet the bus at the CW Sportsplex
10:30am Drop off at HHOF
12:30pm Reservation at Jack Astor's, this is within walking distance
2:30pm pick up at Jack Astor's and head to the Coca Cola Coliseum.
3:00pm the kids and coaching staff meet our MLSE rep in Marlies Alley. The kids will need their helmets to watch from the bench. If they have fusion wear they can wear them or a dark coloured pair of athletic pants and we will have their Fusion jerseys.
4:00pm Game time
7:00pm Bus pick up and head back to the CW Sportsplex
If your child has a regular game that day but would still like to come for the Marlies game portion, I can give you details on meeting place/time next week. Final ticket numbers need to be in by Wednesday December 18.
