Third game of the season, Brantford
What can I say, the kids took what they learned from Saturday's game against Waterloo and ran with it!  Effectively putting the puck deep into the offensive zone, winning puck battles down low, and getting that puck out front into Brantford's kitchen!  Nicely done fellas!  The all important back checking was fantastic!  Everyone played a great 200ft game, meaning on offence and defence!



We got a little sideways in the third with a parade into the sin bin, but they did a really nice job surviving that.  I told the kids, when the game gets frantic like that and the other team is scrambling to get back into the game, we need to be more diligent with our stick placement and body control.  We gave Brantford the chance to battle back into the game, but we took it away at the same time.  Nice solid first win of the season kids!  Great job!  See you all Friday at 6:00am, Fergus.
